When are the games played?
Miracle League of Port Adelaide games will be played Sunday afternoons 2pm to 3pm. First round will be held 11th, 18th and 25th May.
(Second round is likely to be held September 2025, dates will be confirmed at later time)
Where are the games played?
All Miracle League of Port Adelaide games are played at our beautiful baseball complex, located at EP Nazer Reserve, Semaphore South (Next to LeFevre High School). Please see Visit Us main menu option for information about the ballpark and map to our location. Access is off Allen Tapp Way, Semaphore South.
What are the games like?
We offer adaptive baseball, removing the barriers that would normally keep individuals with special needs off the field.
Each Miracle League player is issued an official playing top and hat and is provided equipment to use on the day.
Various baseball stations will be set up with volunteer buddies to help. This includes hitting, throwing and catching stations.
A game is also set up where every player bats, circles the bases, scores each inning and gets to field. The game is informal, to allow players to rotate through, and ensure they can take any breaks as needed.
How much does it cost to play?
Registration is $25 per child, and includes Official playing top, hat, registration (and all equipment provided).
What does a “Buddy” do?
Buddies are a vital part to the success of the Miracle League game.
Our volunteer buddies are there to assist our Miracle League Athletes. We encourage parents/carers to join in the fun on the field, but our Buddies are available and will be floating to assist.
Our games are success-oriented, so we encourage each player to do as much as they can on their own, and the buddies are there to assist with the rest. Sometimes a player may require hand over hand aid, where in other cases words of encouragement, high fives, or prompts on what to do next may be all that is needed.
who can be a "buddy"?
Buddies need to be:
- 12 years or older
- Enthusiastic and motivating
- Able to assist the athlete on the field
- Undertake Working with Children Check (14yrs+)
- Most of all- HAVE FUN!

Is it wheelchair accessible?
Currently our Miracle League games are played on the main (grass) Baseball Diamond. We welcome everyone to play, and we have hired wheelchair MOBI matting to use on the field, but please note Wheelchair access may require some additional assistance.
Anyone in a wheelchair or with mobility devices are very welcome to be part of the Miracle League!
Our long term goal for Miracle League of Port Adelaide is to create a purpose-built Miracle League Field on a custom-designed, court that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
